What time is NFP in each Asian country?
NFP lands in the late afternoon in the Gulf, early evening in South Asia and mid-evening in Southeast and East Asia. Every country below keeps its clock fixed, so only the US change on 14 March moves these times.

What are the NFP dates from November 2026 to April 2027?
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics schedule lists six releases: 6 November and 4 December 2026, then 8 January, 5 February, 5 March and 2 April 2027. All are Fridays at 08:30 New York time.

January is the odd one out: the first Friday is New Year's Day, a US holiday, so the report moves to the 8th. Dates come from the BLS release schedule, checked on 30 October 2026. The BLS can change dates, for example after a government shutdown, so check it again in the week of a release.
Why does NFP move an hour earlier in March?
Because the release is fixed at 08:30 New York time, and New York moves its clocks forward on 14 March 2027. No Asian country uses daylight saving, so every Asian release time drops by one hour that day.

What happens in the market at NFP?
US dollar pairs, gold and US index futures often move sharply in the first minutes after the release. Spreads can widen and orders can fill at worse prices than expected, so many traders plan NFP nights in advance.
- Before: know the exact local time and which of your positions are exposed to the dollar or gold.
- At the release: expect wider spreads and fast moves in the first few minutes, especially in XAUUSD.
- After: the US stock open follows an hour later (21:30 in UTC+7 in winter), which can bring a second wave.

Which Asian time zone is best for trading NFP?
UTC+7 and UTC+8 put NFP in the evening, after dinner and well before midnight. South Asia and the Gulf get it in the late afternoon; Tokyo and Seoul get it at 22:30, which pushes the follow-through past midnight.

21:30 Malaysia and Singapore time from November 2026 to 13 March 2027, and 20:30 after the US clocks change on 14 March. The same times apply in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Bali.

Why is the January 2027 NFP on the 8th and not the first Friday?
The first Friday of January 2027 is 1 January, a US public holiday, so the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the December jobs report a week later, on Friday 8 January.
