What changes in Vietnam time on 2 November?

Vietnam has no daylight saving, so it's always the other side that moves. Here is the full before and after for the times traders in Asia actually plan around.

Why was this week different?
Because the UK and the US change their clocks a week apart. From 26 to 30 October, London had already moved back but New York hadn't, so the London and New York overlap ran five hours in Vietnam time instead of the usual four.
That overlap is when gold and the majors usually move most. For one week it started at 19:00 and ran to midnight. From Monday it's back to 20:00 until midnight, which is the shape it keeps all winter. What time is NFP in Vietnam this winter?
20:30 Vietnam time, and 21:30 in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, from November until the US clocks change again on 14 March 2027. CPI and most other 08:30 New York releases land at the same time.

What should I change in my setup?
Check three things before Monday's session: your platform's clock, your alerts, and any EA or copy-trade schedule written in local time.
- Platform clock: MT4 and MT5 show your broker's server time, which often shifts with New York. Your candles may look different after the change even though nothing in the market moved.
- Alerts: anything set as "19:25 Vietnam time" for the open or a release is now an hour early. Set alerts in New York time where your app allows it.

- Sleep: the late night just got an hour later. If New York keeps you up past midnight, this is a good moment to decide which session you really need.
Is winter a good time to trade from Vietnam?
Yes. With London at 15:00 and New York at 20:00, the whole morning and early afternoon are yours, and you're usually in bed by midnight if you skip the late New York hours.
The weather matters as much as the clock. November is still rainy on the central coast around Da Nang and Hoi An, while the north is cool and dry and the south heads into its dry season. What time does New York open in Vietnam from November 2026?
From Monday 2 November 2026, the New York session (08:00 New York) starts at 20:00 Vietnam time, one hour later than the week before. US stocks open at 21:30 Vietnam time.
What time is NFP in Vietnam in winter?
US data released at 08:30 New York time, including NFP and CPI, comes out at 20:30 Vietnam time from November to mid-March, and at 21:30 in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
Does the London open change on 1 November?
No. The UK already left summer time on 25 October 2026, so London has opened at 15:00 Vietnam time since Monday 26 October and stays there until late March 2027.
When do the clocks change again?
The US moves to summer time on Sunday 14 March 2027 and the UK on Sunday 28 March 2027. Between those dates New York opens at 19:00 Vietnam time while London still opens at 15:00.
