● FOR INVESTORS · FOUNDERS · FUND TEAMS · COMPANIES SCOUTING VIETNAM

See Vietnam's market for yourself. We run the trip around your questions.

A planned business or investment trip to Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang: meetings scheduled and confirmed, an interpreter in the room, a driver at the door, site visits, and hotels where the internet actually works. You decide what to look at. We handle everything that gets you there.

// Why now

Why are more investors flying in to look at Vietnam?

Because the market's status and its financial infrastructure both changed in the last year: FTSE Russell reclassified Vietnam as a Secondary Emerging market from 21 September 2026, and the Vietnam International Financial Centre opened in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

21 SEP 2026

FTSE emerging market status

FTSE Russell moved Vietnam from Frontier to Secondary Emerging, with index inclusion phased in through 2027. More global funds now have a reason to understand the market.

JAN · FEB 2026

International Financial Centre

Resolution 222/2025/QH15 set up one financial centre in two places. The Da Nang site opened in January 2026 and Ho Chi Minh City launched in February.

UTC+7 · 90 DAYS

Easy to visit, easy to stay

An e-visa of up to 90 days is open to every nationality. Direct flights link Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang with Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and the Gulf.

Context only, not investment advice. Check current details with your own advisers before you decide anything.

// Programs

Three trips we run most often.

2–3 DAYS · DA NANG

Da Nang focus

For investors looking at the central coast: the financial centre, the hi-tech park, hospitality and property visits, and meetings with local service providers. Short hop from Singapore, Seoul or Bangkok.

// Who we are

Why book with us?

Green Candle Journeys is run in Vietnam by Kevin, a trader and the team behind Vietnam Pickleball Travel. We already run group trips across the country, and we plan every day around the clock in more than one market. A business trip is the same job with a sharper agenda.

Trading too? Our Trade & Travel Week keeps London and New York live from a shared trading room. For reward trips for your own clients or traders, see partner programs. Before you fly, read our notes on the Vietnam e-visa, money and cards and SIM cards.

// FAQ

Questions investors ask first.

Do you give investment advice?

No. We plan and run the trip: meetings, transport, interpreters and hotels. Investment, legal and tax decisions belong to you and the licensed professionals you choose. We do not sell securities or property.

Can you set up meetings with companies?

We build and confirm your meeting schedule. We can request meetings with listed companies' investor relations teams, industrial park operators and service providers on your behalf, and introduce licensed law firms, accountants, brokers and property agents. Third parties decide whether to meet, so we confirm each slot with you before you fly.

Which visa do I need for a business trip to Vietnam?

Many short visits use the Vietnam e-visa, up to 90 days, open to every nationality and applied for only at evisa.gov.vn. Some nationalities enter visa-free for 30 to 45 days. If you will work or sign contracts in Vietnam, ask your lawyer whether a business (DN) visa fits better. More in our e-visa guide.

How far ahead should we book?

Three weeks is the minimum for a small group with a simple schedule. Allow six weeks or more if you want meetings with specific companies, visits to industrial parks, or travel around Tet (Lunar New Year), when many offices close for a week or more.

Can traders on the team keep trading during the trip?

Yes. Vietnam is UTC+7, so meetings fit the morning and early afternoon, London opens at 14:00 or 15:00 local and New York at 19:00 or 20:00. Hotels are checked for fibre and backup, the same standard we use for trader retreats. See forex hours in Vietnam.
